Well its been a bit since I have had the chance to pop on.

Been trying to find a job and so far only 2 places left to call me at the moment, Kragen and FOX6. Jobs = Scarce

Hope I haven't missed anything too good, but I think I have to keep an eye on you all. I had a dream I went out of town and left the rig with all of you and I got back and the block was gone

PS Jeff, I still have to grab that horn cover from your back pack haha, I keep forgetting and Sean keeps bugging me =P

Sounds about right. The seagulls would not leave much of your jeep behind.

it's in my car.

You missed a couple of desert trips, but there are always more

While I'm willing to bet there aren't to many other golf fanatics, I figured I'd share a few pics from the US Open. These are from Friday and this is Phil, Tiger and Adam at the 18th green. I'll have more if you really want to see'em after this weekend.....

For my part, no thanks man. I work at Green Hospital, right next to the course and the smoking area is like 20feet from the 9th fairway. So I've had my fill and then some of all that craziness.

Well, finally did the Otay and Minewawa Truck Trails down here in Chula Vista. Took my son Jack and our dog. Not much of a challenge for the Jeep, but did have a great ride and some great, though hazy, views.

Jeff, remember my whole clutch slave cylinder thing? Well its actin up and i called my buddy who told me how to bleed the unbleedable clutch slave/master cylinder assembly.

Basicly you pull out the slave cylinder from the tranny, and lift it up so its above the master cylinder. Pull the piston out of the slave, make sure theres fluid in the master, and then have someone gently apply pressure to the clutch, wich will blow out the air bubbles through the slave cylinder. Once you dont see any more bubbles, then theres no more air and you put the piston back in, reinstall, and you are set.

Did this once before and it worked perfectly. Just thought id share.
Good info. That is sort of what we tried but we did not elevate it above the master.

Do you still have the spider gears we took out of my front axle? If so, can I have them back? I am taking out the locker and moving it to my new axle and I don't think those will fit. (3.07 carrier vs 4.10 carrier)

thx

The only semi-real "CB" shop in town is "Mud Shack" on El Cajon Blvd.

Keep far, far, far away from that place. Do a google search on the store name and Roger (the owner) and you'll get an idea of why to avoid the place. And when you read the postings, no, they aren't making that stuff up.

There are HAM radio stores (Ham Radio Outlet) but they generally don't mess with CB's.

Your best bet is getting with someone who knows radios/antennas or describe your problem here, several of the regular posters could help.

The bad news:

The broken right, rear upper control mount snapped completely off the frame, and the left, rear upper that has cracked almost in half

poop

The good news:

time for the new long arm lift....................

i just want to have my set checked out. it transmits great in my opinion, but the reception is weak. i had walcottcb peak tune it when it was purchased, but some poeple were saying to have them stay away from that. so thats why i was wondering. my swr is pretty darn good. so thats all. thanks for you advice.
