Well I had a grand day today at Pick Your Parts... Let me tell you that if you ever purchase ANYTHING at that place and want a warranty, then make sure that they MARK IT WITH THEIR SPECIAL MARKER. I purchased some parts and they did not mark them and when I tried to return them I was (basically) called a lier about purchasing the parts there (even with the receipt).
So now I have those parts that I can't use along with the good parts.
It will be a very long time before I shop at pick you pocket. Ecology for me.
Other then that it was a good day.

Got the new doors. Ended up doing a straight swap. Hey, the guy's a fellow Jeep guy. Anyway, I love em even if they are all clean and shiny.

Yeah, thank God for duck tape! I didn't have the hose clamp tightened down around the filter it fell off and Nate ran it over..... It did make for a good laugh.
The engine is getting pulled this week for a rebuild too!

Well you know what they say about big feet...
A guy called me a shortly after I posted on craigslist, saying he had the same color jeep and wanted full doors. We exchanged them today. The interior on my new ones is black and my dash is beige, but with the black center console and whatnot, I think it looks pretty cool.
The window surrounds are also black though and that may look pretty funny with my grey top... not that they'll get much use.
Anyone need relocation brackets for the newer style mirror?

Yea big socks , that color combo looks nice, I just might have to put a door trade post out there.

Yea , love the see through engine bay also, can't decide if its more Mad Max style or Grease Lightning style. Put a giant lightning bolt sticker on it or a human kill rack on the front and it will be more clear.

I know. We have all gone into off-season mode for repairs and upgrades. I am gathering parts for my axle swap. Steve needs a new steering box, Jimmie is still having alignment issues. Jason is converting to trailer queen mode. Nate is leaving the country for a few months. Kory, Dan and most of the rest have been busy doing "work" or have otherwise disappeared.
If we keep up the momentum we will all be ready to get back at it pretty soon.
BTW, the doors look great.

This SUCKS!
In Colorado (where I just moved from) the off season is Oct though April because of the winter. Now I'm here in SoCal and its the off season because of summer... I have missed a whole season of wheelin'!

It's only the off season in the deserts, not up in the mountains like the John Bull trail at Big Bear.
