So, tightening them fixed it?

If so, you should let them know.

Well the real test will be after a longer drive, but from the short ones i've done today it looks like that fixed it.

I don't think Cameron or I'll make it, the frikin starter on the YJ went out, so that woulda been my spare gas money for wheeling, and Cameron has to get ready for his missonary trip to Africa.

I've desicded to stop fixing things on the YJ that arent major, as soon as I fix one thing another breaks, I just need to wait till something I can deal with is fubar and leave it at that.

Wow,

More issues with the YJ...

At least an 18 year old starter is cheap to replace...

At least is should level out... almost everything is new now...

I've already got a few things planned for that weekend but I'm open on Monday. Do you have an idea on location?

By the way I went to Big Bear with MyJeepRocks.com on Saturday. We did Holcomb Creek. The big (and expensive) Jeep Jamboree was scheduled to run the same trail too so we started the trail about 7am to beat the crowds. I ended up not seeing a single jeep besides with our own group.

That's a fun trail- there are two rock gardens, a play area with some big rocks, and few of off-camber sections that keep you entertained.

Holcomb Creek is pretty fun. There are a few different lines you can take in those rock gardens to make it a little more interesting. HAve you ran John Bull yet?

I am planning on making another trip up there towards the end of June.

We saw a few guys a couple weekends ago pre-running for the JJ. Good thinking on getting an early start. I'm sure it was packed all day long.

Holcomb was on the Jamborees plans, as was John Bull. But we were there so early that we didn't have any contact with other jeeps. A couple of the guys I had run with on Holcomb went over to JB after I went on home. They were doing it west to east and had to pull over because the Jamboree came through.

I'd love to go do JB again although I found Holcomb to be more difficult.

Well, I am planning a trip either the 3rd or 4th weekend of June. I'll post up on here to see if anyone wants to go.

Plan so far is to run Holcomb on Saturday. Either camp or hotel for one night. And then run Gold Mountain and John Bull on Sunday. I'm sure things will change as the time comes but yea.
