Alright so i talked to Pro gear really nice guy wants to help out and make sure you don't go and by a ton of parts so basically there's two sets of bearings for the D44a tappered for $50 bucks with seals or the straight kind for $100 bucks with seals. He also told me to check the inside out because those types of bearings rarely go out unless there's another problem which kind of makes sense so jason when we picking up that axle aahhh i'll call you be prepared haha

I'm talking about getting it home. I would definitely check it out before you put in the GC.

So what is "supposed" to be wrong with it. Usually on the 44A its the wheel bearings that go, which is an easy replacement. Ask the guy what kind of noise it was making and when it was happening. The pinion bearings are most likely good. The carrier bearings might be bad. Depending on how they shim the 44A for the carrier bearings could be a simple job (2 of 5) or a (4 of 5). Well damn, now you have me thinking. I'll do some research and post in awhile.

Thats just a wheel bearing then. Very easy to replace.

When are you going to pick it up?

We are not full sized in a sense, same width as a YJ/TJ, just longer....
