Do you have brakes?? I remember that was something you were lacking previously.
Yeah I do need to rebuild the brakes still, they are working well enough that I can last until another repair party I believe. Just gotta keep a safe distance between me and other cars so I can brake gently.

always good advice.

Get the springs and the pads. We can decide on the wheel cylinders and drums after it's apart. You can do the research on those and see who has in stock if you need them.

yup, it's a Tough Stuff, and, quite literally, I dug it out of the trash a few weeks ago...

Jason threw some rattle can on it, voila

I wouldn't wait for anything to get my brakes fixed. This should be #1 on the priority list. If you want we can bang it out this weekend.

Are you planning on going to Anza Borrego next weekend?

Good point. Brakes are good. I will be home saturday all day until about 6.

I think we are having a bumper building party, or at least a bumper designing party.

Something non jeep related.

Julian blues fest on June 21st. Generally a pretty good show and tix are cheap. Maybe some anza wheeling and blues in the same weekend.

Ahh, okay. I've been known to get them for friends at a good price or free.

Reason I asked is because the Tough Stuff Products folks (Brad in Missouri & Blaine in Dana point) are both friends of mine.

If for whatever reason whatsoever you are not 100% completely satisfied with it, let Brad, Blaine, or me know. They stand behind their products far beyond most other businesses. Their customer service is second to none.

It seems pretty solid and no-nonsense so I don't foresee any issues. So can you get armor from them discounted too?

Thanks for the info!
