It passed clean. I think I figured out what the problem is though, the #1 wire doenst have the metal piece that goes into the distrubter, which in turn would cause the timing light to time it wrong, which in turn would cause a knock. Solution: tommrow get new wires, and re time it myself.

BTW,

New wires with the tune-up

The smog shop messed it up.

The wires were most definatly fubar before the inspection acctuly only one wire...anyway bought new ones today and a timing light and got it all cleared up.

I did Bronco Peak with JustRuns today. I'd love to do that trail again someday. Didn't have any problems with traction but the shovel sure got me hung up on a lot of stuff.

Can't make it tomorrow though since I'm going to the Padre game.

Its the only one we didn't do when I was there...

Hey Jeff I was reading the writeups about the 4.0 head swap, I really think I want to do it now. Anyone know where I can get a cheap 4.0 head and exuast manifold....and various other crap....wrecked Jeeps whatever lemme know, this should be a uber fun swap.

it has been a while but i got my zj up and tril ready again got the 5 speed trans in quick dis and remove the rear sway bar plus added 5 inch lift coils to it front and rear plus the 2 inch speacer custom made long arm kit and 4:56 gears with some locker so about $3800 later how wants to play i want to try it out

If you got then you need to use it

Hey Matt, you seem to have a nack for finding cheap parts, see if you can't find me some stuff.......or a complete 4.0....that would work too......depends how cheap.
