Wheeling this weekend

I am going to go wheeling this Sat or Sun...

I have a book and was thinking somewhere in the Anzo Borrego desert.

The last time I went I did the squeeze and heart attack hill, there where serveral other trails listed and I was thinking about doing one of those.

Is there any intrest in this weekend?

Sunday is supposed to be sunshine but Saturday may rain a bit.

I may be able to join you on either day. Money has been really tight after having to spend a bit of money on the parts and repair on the bent tierod problem. I'm still waiting on a hi-lift handle. The old one is still permanently wedged onto the bent tierod and doesn't seem to want to come off. So I bought a new one.

Gas prices have been a real beyotch too.

What part of Anza are you looking at? (No Sandstone Canyon )

No ideas- there's a lot of areas you can do easy wheeling throught the washes between the S-22 and 78.

I wouldn't mind doing the Squeeze and HA again.

Well...

It's Sunday for me...

Also... the guy with the blazer just bought an XJ and wants to go...

So maybe some easier stuff would be good...

Not thinking Nate would want to do the squeeze for his first wheeling trip...

Anyway, Sunday morning is good for me. Pick something... or we can just wing it.

I will be bringing... BOTH Mutts...

And Maybe Sarah.

Well if it's somebody's first time they have to go to Coyote Canyon. I've done it many times and it doesn't get old. Fun trail and a stock 4x4 with decent ground clearance can do it.

We could meet at Christmas Circle in Borrego Springs. I may go camping out that way today so I would have to lock down a time and place with you fairly early today.

Well I've been out playin with the vaccum acctuator all morning no luck so far, I've got a couple more ideas before I quit though, we might even be able to engage it manualy on the trail if worst come to worst by taking off the actuator, having someone rock the heep and I'll try and push the lock ring into place.....

I don't know if we'll hit cayotee canyon, we thought it was pretty boring last time we went, but we we're all lifted too.... It was a lot of fun when Cameron and I hit it as stockers though

Lawrence welk might not be a bad choice

I have to say, Coyote Canyon is a big yawn fest for me, but I would do it if needs be...

Lawrence welk would be ok... since we could do harder or easier as we like...

Dave you still around?

If not Matt, lets do Lawernce Welk then...

Lots of trails near pinyon mountain trail are rated easy as well...

Diablo/Mud Caves might be awesome..

Before it gets to hot that is.
