Jeff, I'm thinking something like this for the outer bumper tie-ins using the existing holes:

I like your thinking! Plus the smaller tires will help gas mileage too. Sounds like a done deal to me.

Anyone need a 4" lift for a YJ? This is a pretty sweet deal.

Well jeff asked first so he can have first dibbs if he likes, You know elders always go firts

And i've been doing tons of research and i wont be able to use them not even as back ups, axles are longer then my zj's, bolt pattern is different, which means new rims my bolt pattern is smaller. i have a 4 link rear end yours possibly 3 is what i heard, also the LSD is built for WJ shafts since you have special shafts in it from the quadra drive package and i can't use any of it with my axles or pinion's etc.

so Thank you for the offer sorry i can't take them off you i was supper stoked when i thought i could use it but i guess not, minus well let someone use it who needs it but if you got some stock springs laying around from you WJ i can use those

Dumb question....YJ fuel filter is driver side near the fuel tank, mounted along the frame...

Does the 1990 not have one (or in a different location) or am I not seeing it....

we need to cut in the other shackle mount and weld both. That will take about an hour.

Then we should have the jeep there for measurement and weld on the mounting tabs. That's it.

We could do it without the jeep there but I would feel better about a good fit by doing it right in place since we have to work around the winch plate.

Next step; powder coat.

I am pretty booked this weekend but could maybe do it friday night or sunday night or any time next week.

Well Ari and I spent a couple of hours tonight trying to get his locker out.

FAIL.

I can not get the right axle moved to the center enough to get the c clip off; just need about another 1/16 but it won't go. Can't really move it the other way much either so the busted piece could be torqued in there good.

Plan B is to find a pipe or bar long enough to reach in thru the tube and pound the snot out if it.

If that does not work then plan C is to fire up the right angle grinder.
