I've got "silver envy" with all that you can't see on his rig like real 8.8 axle with rear discs, belly up, etc. Bozowise is the name he goes by, if thats not a pic of his jeep in Jasons post it looks alot like it.

Lets meet at the gas station on Scripps Poway Pkwy and the 15. There is a shopping center there (east side of the freeway) with a Chili's and Wendy's. Easy point of reference. Not sure of the time. I am waiting to hear from Steve and Jeff to find out when they are done.

Hey everybody thanks for the day, had a lot of fun and I am tired!!!

I'd like to plan an overnight trip for the weekend of March 28-30, either the desert and camping at Blair Valley or Aqua Caliente (I like Caliente with the hot showers and hot spa), http://www.sdcounty.ca.gov/parks/cam..._caliente.html, and run through the Squeeze, Diablo Dropoff, Vallecito Creek, Canyon Sin Nombre, Pipkorn Slot, Mortero Wash, basically a big tour of the south desert

or

go to Corral Canyon and do the same there

Personally I would vote for the desert before the heat sets in, we can always do Corral Canyon on cool weekend plus aqua Caliente closes at the end of May for the summer season.

And from today, snow, sun, sand, Mini-Repair Party, broken down on the trail, we got it all

I am pretty sure i can make that trip.Joy works that friday and monday,so she will have to trade one or both days so we could stay out there more than one night. If she trades both days i will drive out friday morning and leave monday.Caliente sounds good, hookups and a nice campground with other things to do is a plus.

I had a great time yesterday! I was to tired to post anything. I got home, showered then sleep.

I liked how we went from a tangerine fight to a snowball fight. One of my favorite pics is Steve trying to move a giant rock.

FYI:

The Johnson Valley meeting with Congressman Duncan Hunter is this coming Saturday morning. I posted a thread about it here:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showt...42#post4960742

The meeting place is ~1/4 mile from my home & I plan on hosting a premeeting meet/greet at my house prior to the meeting kick-off. Feel free to PM if you need directions or my address/phone number.

So about this Saturday, might be a good opportunity to support the cause, and get a run in. Maybe met at Joe's place, go to the meeting, line up as many Jeeps as we can outside, leave the meeting at 11AMish and then run up to Corral Canyon for an afternoon run on Sidewinder.

Keep in mind, losing JV could be another drop in the bucket, if they take JV what's next?

I like the way you think.
