sounds like fun, keep me posted. If the gods will it I might be able to install the BL saturday and be all set for sunday.

i ended up buying the tires. 2 of the tires are a little more worn then the other 2 but overall have a decent amount of tread. I got him to take a little off the price and paid 120.

I didn't either, especially since they already have the Wheelin Neighborhood and we're all here on the SD Area thread anyway, but I figured it might be a way for folks to find us and assimilate others into the collective of Eric's Jeep Repair Club

You're definitely need a BL to install any bigger tire than what you have.

When are you swinging by to grab it anyway?

We're heading out to Superstition the 4th through 6th of April. Right now it's just my wife and I, and maybe the roommate. Our regular group is headed up to Dumont Dunes and the wife can't get off until later on Friday afternoon (not the time to be headed up the freeway towards Vegas). The wife is getting some behind the wheel time in sand and I'm going to relearn how to ride dirt bikes (picked up an old CR250) so it will be easy stuff but anyone's more than welcome to camp with us and then head out on harder runs. We'll just share campfire drunken stories Just let me know before then and we'll work out a place to meet either in town our out there.

Future run plans:

Possibility of Moab Easter week, if not maybe plan a holiday weekend outing? Would still like to do Corral Canyon on an overnighter, campfire lies on Friday, a couple of day and a night run on Saturday followed more campfire lies and

Would also like to do a desert trip, possibly stay at Aqua Caliente campground, run the squeeze and so on before the summer heat sets in

And then I'll be on these trips later in the year ig anyone is interested in coming along

High-Desert Roundup, Stoddard Valley (Barstow), May 23-26

Big Bear, July 4-6

The Rubicon, July 24-28

Operation Desert Fun, Ocotillo Wells, September 12-14

not a trip but will be there: Off-Road Expo, Fontana, October 3-6
