Im looking for a cherokee or grand mostly. Ive got the CJ5 already so dont really need that style. If I could find one thats cheap with low miles I might buy it. I would also take one of the J series trucks always liked them.

Hey all, was up in Orange County today and catching up now. Still up for a run tomorrow somewhere. Looks like the great storm didn't happen, so maybe we could do Eric's Palomar/Harrison Grade, come off the top of the mountain maybe run down through Santa Ysabel, see how the day goes?

or we just all get together and fix Eric's Jeep

I am still up for a mountain run or a fix Eric's jeep party. The earlier the better; before we all get wrapped up in the other projects we really should be doing.

If we go I will be alone so I can bring someone along.

cheers

The CHP website is showing the 76 as open. We're planning on hitting Ocotillo Wells on sunday so the wife can get some practice time in. Has anyone run out the 76 to see if it's open or close?

We might be heading up there in a few minutes. I just checked CalTrans and their website is showing the road closed until Monday or possibly later.

Been trying to figure out if we can get to Palomar or to Harrison Grade, really don't want to drive all the way up there if I can't get in. Might just go up to Mt. Laguna, we'll see.

Portions of State Route 76 and SR-78 Closed this Weekend

SAN DIEGO –Portions of State Route 76 (SR-76) and SR-78 will be closed starting tonight at 10 through Monday morning in anticipation of possible flooded roadways in these areas damaged by the recent wildfires.

SR-76 will be closed from Lake Henshaw Resort to Valley Center Road. Residents only will be permitted to travel with escort from Lake Henshaw Resort as far as Harolds Road. SR-78 will be closed from Bandy Canyon Road to Haverford Road. Motorists on SR-78 will be detoured southbound on SR-67 to eastbound on Poway Road to Interstate 15. There is no detour for the closure on SR-76.

“There is the possibility that these roads may need to remain closed past Monday, but that will depend on the amount of rain from the storm and debris that must be removed to allow safe travel,” said Caltrans spokesman Ed Cartagena.

Caltrans advises motorists to plan ahead and drive with caution during the upcoming storm.

Just got off the phone with StvDiego. We are going to head up and meet at Nessie Burger and go from there. Right off the 76 exit, on the west side.

If anyone wants to join up or wants a ride, call me or Steve. Leaving Clairemont at appx 10:50

that is all

Eric -I'm not doing anything today if you want to come on over and fix that thing! We can wire those lights too!

I'm ready to punch someone though...my best friend dropped 31G on a used H2 yesterday I tried talking him out of it but he wouldn't listen to reason. He got sold on the "Adventure Package"
