Anybody here can do some welding on my 72 datsuns hood? The inner support is like "glued" to the underside of the hood, but its has all come apart. So I'm going to clean it up and want to have it welded. Anybody who can, I'd be willing to pay/donate some beer to.

Just got home. Premo and I went to Las Vegas to deliver my old chevy truck to his uncle.

obviously the screen is pretty small but for just backing up it's probably fine.

I bought a couple of $18 mini cameras last week but have not gotten further than taking them out of the box

Well, I'm flip flopp'n ideas? I need a new stereo and like those new ones that has the 7" lcd that slides out and up. They have hookups for cameras and wanted to get something to see behind me and also for some good spotting..

I was two minutes from calling you today about picking up that truck. I am halfway looking for a project to put a 7.3 diesel in.

Kevin, newer Toyotas have cameras like that. Enough to see how close you're getting to something behind you but unless you put your face to it, can't make out what it is.

All about that unibody life.

For spotting or viewing the front of the Jeep on the trail, you need a monitor that can flip or invert the picture, or otherwise you are in for some fun. Gets confusing when left is right and viceversa.
To have it remotely usefull about a 7" monitor will do. My cheapo Chinese one has lived in the sun and rain for close to 3 years now and still works. Best 50 bucks I ever spend even vcame with a camera and allows use of 2 cameras
