I'm thinking about putting another one in the same spot pointing back towards the rear axle

Shadows and light from certain angles definitely kill the camera. I'll put it up against a rock or a curb or something and take another photo so to can see
Got one underneath pointing back, hardly ever use that one.

Had my doohickey for about 3 years on my Jeep now and to me it's one of the better mods I have done

Pretty much eliminates the blind spot in front and lets me place my front tires exactly where I want

Nice! Yup, that and the hydro steering are a couple of the best mods I've done to date. I want to play around with another spot in the front to mount it but just haven't had the time. But it's more or less eliminated the need for a spotter so far

I have two cameras on the back of my Avalanche and I can back up to a trailer hitch by myself. Great to have for that and parking.
For the Jeep I would like to mount one on the front high on the grill looking down at about a 45* angle for those times when you climb a steep hill, your hood is in the air, and you have no idea what is on the other side of that ledge.

So either the upper shock bolts the passenger side rear tire of my Jeep came loose, or the nuts/nutserts broke.

Oh yay! :/ Anybody have experience with that?

That's pretty much where my front camera resides

The two upper nuts that I use to attach the bolts to hold the top of the shock in, I think are broken, and the shock has come loose. I've heard of it happening before. Don't know what the fix is like though.
