I am pretty sure I have the exact same one you took off on mine that the po put on. Any reason you decided to go with the one with the rubber boot instead this time?

I'm in need of someone to weld my 30-6 bolt back together. Whomever customized the rifle before I acquired it had cut the bolt handle off and re-welded it on at a bit different angle to clear the scope. The weld was piss poor, and the handle broke off

Already tried an original bolt, doesn't clear the scope, all of the original sights have been stripped as well.

Anyone want to tackle the challenge?

All about that unibody life.

One of the employees at All American KTM told me about that place on Monday. Says it's a really nice facility and gave it I'd like to join you on Saturday but I'll be at the stadium for the Supercross. Last race of the season for me and now I can go play

For those of you who suffer from an overweight jeep that stops like a freight train get some black magic pads. I only did the fronts and the beast went from scary bad braking to brakes that can lock up if I have to. For a 25 minute job to slap on some new pads this mod is amazing!

Glad you like the BMB pads, Kevin.

It's too bad you didn't have the opportunity to ride in my YJ when I had the 16" BBK. It was nothing short of phenomenal.

I drive all sorts of Jeeps on a regular basis. Those of them that have been "built-up" and have not addressed the brake system yet, I have to be extra careful when test driving them. All of them, I repeat, all of them seriously lack quality brakes.

Once you have tasted what a quality brake system offers, the desire to upgrade suddenly goes towards the top of the list of future mods.

The BMB pads need to be pushed HARD on a regular basis, but I'm pretty sure Blaine already mentioned that to you.

Ive only been on day one of the break in.. Driving up and down side streets and plowing on the brakes at 40 to a near stop kinda scares some residents.. lol. Im on the cool down over night thing right now but just going on this 1st drive I can tell a HUGE difference. Not sure what those 900 little fasteners were that were kitted with my brakes or the snap spring things (didn't use em). Just used the pads and after going through 2 sets of knuckles I was a bit worried I'd be ordering up Blaines nutserts too. Luckily the pathetic bolt holes didn't strip. Cant wait to see what the end result will be in a few days.
This is the 1st time I can ever remember that when I got on the brakes I could feel the jeep wanting to stand up on its front end. Now if I could only address my sad rear drum set up.

Why not get some high rise mounts and use the original bolt?
