Hey guys I just found a full Detroit locker for sell and wanted to ask for your guy's opinion. I'm currently running a rear Rubicon axle in my jeep. Since day one, I knew it was going to be a temporarily axle (locker) since every where I read it says that the rear Rubicon locker are weak due to being limited slip. Would you guys consider selling my Rubicon locker and gears and installing a used full Detroit locker an upgrade? I would want to run front and rear ARB's but the Detroit locker is being sold for a fairly good price.

Any input is welcome guys, thanks

Yes it's my daily driver right now. I basically want to find the best replacement for the rubicon locker before it goes bad, if it ever does. I haven't had any issues with it so right now will be the best time to get it replaced.

Well, I personally wouldn't install one, not in a daily anyways. Trail only I would. Driving in the snow with one would be sketchy at best. I'm sure others will chime in though

Roberto.

If you haven't had any issues with the rubicon locker, then just leave it.

Don't fix problems that don't exist.

Save your money for an ARB and a proper install.

I can't tell you how nice it is having arbs front and rear.

You do have a point on not fixing something that is not broken, I just would not want to wait and have a broken locker, where at the time I could get some money for it.
