This is exactly the reason I decided to install the truss, both Kevin and Taylor had issues with the ARB due to the axle flexing. It's basically a cheap insurance so that the ARB locker does not break on me.

Its been a long time since I've been on the forum. I found that 231 w/teralow that rrw600 posted last night when I got home from school and decided to go pick it. A little thing he didn't mention is it needs some work, more specifically the back half of the 231 housing. All the internals are good and everything is fine the PO just happen to drop it and crack the back lip when switching to an Atlas. If you have any leads shoot them my way. Preferably I'd like to buy the back half of the housing and nothing else. This way I can swap it onto the teralow and sell my current 231 as a whole. Thanks Guys

I sorta fixed it for you. Point being, if your gear installer doesn't understand the D-30 and it's requirements for pre-load on the carrier bearings, no truss will fix that. If he does understand, then no truss will fix that.

I hope it fixes your problems.

Driving around in Death Valley. The good thing about the internal sleeve is it worked as a very nice alignment tool when they patched it back together. I'll see if it's still in the scrap pile and get a pic of the repair.

Nice. Just driving around? Buddy of mine bent the hell out of his jk d30 jumping it. C's were fine which was shocking, bent the long side tube. It was a pretty bad landing. There's a video somewhere. Jeff might have it actually

While the upright portion of the JK inner C is less sturdy than the TJ version, the material around the upper balljoint hole is considerably more substantial. The weakness on the JK can be readily fixed with inner C gussets which is a worthwhile endeavor due to how much room there is between the C and the spring perch.

Happy new year gents.

My only resolution this year is something practical, to finish up one of my projects (I have 2 that are the big ones) and try to get a promotion at work
