Wow Rob, that's alot of burning! If you can't find anyone in SD area, you know where I'm at. Life is busy now with #3 being born and the holidays but I might be able to sneak you in the garage for a few hours to do some buzzing.

it really doesn't take too long to weld it, but you should pull the axle out of the rig to do it.

I am planning on taking out the axle to get the truss burned in and replace the stock driver LCA bushing with a Currie JJ, while it's out of the jeep.

Roberto, Climbit can certainly help you, he's got experience. Remember though, only a 1/4 inch at a time. .

Hey Ron....did Colin mention to you about the steering/suspension correction recommendation he and I spoke about (by adjusting the front control arms)?

Joe, I'll let him work on that when he gets home next week. I'm not really allowed to work on the jeep any more, just wash it. He's become kind of possessive about her.

but seriously, yes, I can offer advice. although the install is pretty straightforward.

you will want someone with a 220v welder to burn in the sections on the Dif housing.

Thanks for the advice!!

So there are no volunteers to help me burn the truss in the Dana 30? I can offer beer, pizza or any kind of reasonable payment.

I work for beer and welding gas. I can weld it 3/16 at a find. Keep the warping to a minimum. Haha.

I don't have a welder but I can give opinionated criticism over some IPA's.. or maybe be the prep/painter after it's together. And you NEED to get it rock'n so you can test it at Superstition Jan 18/19th..
