That has happened, Jeep's gone, insurance paid her, then she bought a JK, that's lifted by now

If you have a free evening head to "The Brick" for a great beer selection. I had my first Trappist Ale there and I haven't looked at beer the same since Also, be sure to try some Sweetwater 420. They're a local brewer serving the southeast with some fine, fine beers.

So, I finished getting the head back on my step-daughter's Escort yesterday and got the Jeep back, (it was her loaner, ouch), only to find absolutely ZERO compression in #3 cylinder (it's a 4 banger) and I have plans to go to BorregoFest this weekend. FML Today I'm pulling the head, hoping to get it repaired today, and put it back on tonight. Tall order. Anyone wants to help, call me for directions. 619-200-6034

Or, does anyone have a decent 4 cylinder head for a 2000 TJ?

Planning to leave the house about 7:30 and head for Ramona. No further details planned beyond that other than a day in the desert.

I really, really need some time out of the city and my schedule does not allow a full Friday - Sunday trip this week.

That sux

Any clue on the problem? Aside from a valve stuck open I can't think of anything else that could be wrong with the head. Either that or a really badly blown gasket.

I'm guessing that it was a 420 then. If you prefer "violent" IPA's then it can be a bit underwhelming. I prefer to stay out of bar fights; especially with my beers! Nowadays it seems like everyone is trying to "out hop" the next brewer resulting in some ultra hoppy IPA's.

I went through a phase a few years ago where no beer was hoppy enough for me but since then have done a 180 and don't care for that style anymore. My timing is pretty bad because all the craft beer places are pretty well stocked with heavy IPAs right now.

I watched an episode of Anthony Bourdain on the travel channel the other day where he was in Atlanta.

Says the Clermont Lounge is the place to go for good old fashion sketchy fun.

I've been there. It is a nice place with cool people. Tony Bourdain is my hero. That guy is awesome.

Wish I didn't have plans this weekend I would trek out with yall!
