I would like to extend my middle finger to the previous owner of my Cherocar. 800ft pounds of torque is NOT the correct torque for the bolts that hold the alternator to the bracket, nor the bracket to the block. Wtf

Ya know,...I'd like to see a bolt that can take 800 ft/lbs....Oh wait, Jeff can!

Thanks. It means that I have to give up my G-ride, shave and start dressing like a normal person, but I'm sure there's some benefits to it too...

now that my front is taken care of its time to start saving for my rear end..... shaved 14 bolt, disc brakes, outboard coil overs, tri link, antirock, and a 5" stretch w/genright tank and comp'd corners.... tired of 1/2 stepping with mod's.

You mean like this?

I'm converting the heavy 14B drums to discs.

As you can see, the caliper bracket gets mounted to the axle tube flange. The wheel studs get removed from the hubs and remounted through the rotors & into the back side of the hubs.

The stretch blah blah blah is coming.

HA, now if I sell the Krawlers tomorrow I'll have a shorter list of junk to buy.

A guy contacted me from Pirate & may buy them tomorrow. I'm doubting it since he wants a tire to drive on the street as well which isn't a good idea.
