Trail was good definately had to pay attention to what you were doing. Very tight trail with LOTS of trees. The last section after Ershim lake was the hardest with Divorce rock, a killer climb up mountain side & super tight squeeze between rocks with drop offs. Hardest trail I have ever done. I used my whole tank full plus 5 gallons to run trail & just made it back to Clovis. Ive never run Rubicon but was told both trails are rated the same with Dusy being 3 times longer. I will post pics of obstacles when I get a chance.
Thats what I also thought first, but in the first pictures it shows the leaks is coming from the top. I put my finger where the bottom cover is and where the row meets, it was wet.
TJR, It looks like an all metal radiator. If so, have it repaired. The only real radiator shop left that I know of is Intermountain Radiator in Poway, same complex as I used to work at the tranny shop. Bar's leaks will work, but, long term you should just replace it. You can get CSF radiators at Autozone and O'Really?s for about $100.

Yep Johnnys Dodge. It was pretty awesome to watch that thing on the trail. I dont know how he made it through with the body still straight. There was a fullsize blazer & cherokee on trail we saw from another group, blazer was smashed every corner lights busted out, nerf bars tacoed. The cherokee had rolled on its side.
so after working on my jeep's suspension for the past month or so, I just discovered that my radiator is leaking. I was not expecting thi$$ to happen one week before my 4 day trail/camping trip to the mountains in Baja. Would you guys recommend a radiator sealant or should I just not risk it and buy a new OEM radiator? The leak seems to be coming from the last rows, just on-top of the drain plug.
I have never used them but have heard good things about Ace Radiator.
It used to be common to have radiators re cored but it's a lot cheaper now to buy a new one. Like moose said, if you can find the hole it might be a 2 second job to weld it
Thanks Jeff and Moose, Ill give Ace Radiator a call.
what brand radiator do you guys recommend? OEM radiator from the dealership is going for $300 and its the same price from wermopar.com. They are way more expensive for an auto tranny
screw the Stealerships! get a 3 row aftermarket and dont look back. I did the csf YEARS ago. Actually, about 13 yrs ago after running through 2 stock radiators (under warrantly) luckily. after warranty ran out I got sick of the junk plastic radiators and got one of these http://jeepin.com/features/csf
13 yrs and counting..
