BTW, I finally got the parts I was waiting on.

The parts from Oregon that were ordered last Monday & due to have been here last Thursday, came in a mangled box with some minor stuff missing (all the shock tabs).

The disc conversion stuff that was ordered from TN on Saturday, came today. Go figure. USPS was used with both orders.

Tub never touched but my trans skid and Joe Dillard Special rock rails sure took a beating.
You need sliders. We sat and watched a GC try to make it back up Deep Creek for about thirty minutes before we got bored and left. He was having a love affair with the skinny pedal. So, he will be visiting a body shop and fork ing out enough cash to buy a used Wrangler. He had nice tires and a lift, but his driving skills were less than adequate.
Then his buddy in the Rubicon went up to help him and got stuck. He was on 35's. Looked liek that saying about the monkey and the football.
All four of us walked right up that trail on the way back with no issues at all. Both Premo and Chris were running open diffs front and rear, I was open rear Aussie front, Jeff ARB's front and rear. I was the only one rolling on 33's and a small lift, that is why I left skid marks on the rocks.
You need to get out and wheel Sam. You are a talented welder, make some rails! Get 'er done!

Pics of said GC and Rubi courtesy of Jeff...

That sux Joe. I hate waiting for parts and they are either wrong, damaged or never shipped.

Great pics Jeff..

Gatekeeper on John Bull forced me to air down from 38lbs to 12lbs. Made a huge difference.
But then you have to air back up at the end of the day.

Yeah, all in due time... and money. I do need to get dirty. The little trip to the shooting range was just a tease. There's a GC group going out next Saturday in Hemet. I'm may have to tag along.

I'm here because
my little girl
doesn't need her dad
on two wheels anymore!

Camoflauge, camoflauge, I disappear when I pull out of my garage!

PM me for LED light bars and HID off road lights
