Looks like I missed some good wheeling. Although if Rick was scrubbing his tub I'd have some major damage to my Grand Cherokar sills... must sell more stuff to finance sliders!
I got lucky at Faith Armory on Saturday for 22lr.... about 15th in line before they opened and I got the last 3 sleeves they had on the shelf. Then I went out and shot half of it.
Tub never touched but my trans skid and Joe Dillard Special rock rails sure took a beating.
You need sliders. We sat and watched a GC try to make it back up Deep Creek for about thirty minutes before we got bored and left. He was having a love affair with the skinny pedal. So, he will be visiting a body shop and fork ing out enough cash to buy a used Wrangler. He had nice tires and a lift, but his driving skills were less than adequate.
Then his buddy in the Rubicon went up to help him and got stuck. He was on 35's. Looked liek that saying about the monkey and the football.
All four of us walked right up that trail on the way back with no issues at all. Both Premo and Chris were running open diffs front and rear, I was open rear Aussie front, Jeff ARB's front and rear. I was the only one rolling on 33's and a small lift, that is why I left skid marks on the rocks.
You need to get out and wheel Sam. You are a talented welder, make some rails! Get 'er done!
