For those that have seen The Boatniks you might remember Wally Cox's character who had the engine removed from his yacht and replaced with a wine cellar.

Ah I was exaggerating. Only 30 right now. I'm sure I will be 40 by the time I get around to installing it

Anyone here have any experience installing Genright Highlines? Looking into these and not really wanting to rely on a shop to put em in. Plus I have no friggin garage so difficult to find space to do the install. :P

Anyone know where to get that stupid "Y" fitting for the EVAP lines on the right side of the fuel tank? I snapped mine when installing my Savvy skid last season. It was so brittle I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

So you have a check engine light on and the tank says you're empty after you drive for about 3-5 miles?

Yeah, the check engine light is on. It's the joint that connects the 2 breather hoses for the top of the tank into the EVAP line. I guess I could make one out of brass fittings. The local Jeep dealer can't seem to find the thing and I gotta get it smogged by the end of the month.

Go over to hose specialties in Santee (on woodside near the drive in).

Take him the part you have that is broken and he should be able to get you the right fittings to make your adapter. It won't be OEM but it will work.

Never did the highlines, but we welded and installed regular tube fenders.
If you need a place to do it, my garage is available pretty much any weekend. Usually Saturdays we spend working on cars/jeeps projects. PM me if you want to come by sometime.

Kevin,

I replaced mine with a universal TEE fitting and some extra hose. Holding up great and still smog legal.
