Speed, that is just ridiculous! I stopped riding when my daughter was born. I get tempted from time to time to throw a leg over a bike again but pictures like that remind me that I am not getting any younger. Good luck for a quick heal!

Yeah I hear ya, its just in my blood, been riding ever since I was 3 years old and ride every week and race as often as possible.

To me there is nothing that even comes close to the adrenaline of ripping across the desert at 90mph or climbing a hill that is nearly vertical on my dirt scooter, however there are obviously risks, but I think thats why the adrenaline level is so high.

I think it looks worse than it actually is..., or maybe not..it doesnt hurt too bad, thats all I know for sure.

Absolutely...I've never been happier than sitting over my bike riding in the desert or dunes. NOTHING like it! Damn.... I miss my bike.

Well the guys did a good job on grooving the tires, they are now grooved and mounted. Now I just need to put them on the Jeep.

Well good because kwadz are dangerous! 3 or die

Interestingly enough, I've only ever been injured on 2 wheels. Never crashed on 3, rolled every 4 wheeler I've ridden and I ride like every 20 year old punk does

Reminds me of my ole 81 250r... good times! Later on a buddies 83 did in one of my knees. A KLR 250 did the other... Damn 250s! Glad my DRZ450 treated me well. Grant it when it was a 400 it did kill what was left of my really bad knee. Eh, ALL worth it!

Been checking and the cheapest Boxhead Golden Retriever I have found for a male pup is about $2K. Papered of course.
I'm glad to hear he's doing better.

However, I wish people would stop breeding dogs. I respect you trying to get your son another dog, but have you thought about adopting from a pound or shelter? As much as I loved my Dalmatian, I'd never try to replace her by getting another. Plus, your son shows so much character that maybe he'll appreciate the fact that he gets to save a life and change the world for an animal?

Either way, post up some pictures because I like all dogs and please don't take what I said in a wrong way. We've recused over 30 animals this past year. All from people who didn't care to get their dogs fixed and take care of them so I'm a huge fan of adopting because many of the animals in shelters come from the same circumstances. They deserve to know the way a loving home feels instead of abuse and neglect before they get gassed. So I'm a little biased.

Thanks. Yeah he's doing better. Still mentions him every day. I'm not even going to speak of a replacement dog until he is done mourning. Probably when he gets back from South America in July or so.

I have friend that owns a vet hospital and she is keeping an eye out for me.
I'm thinking it would be a nice welcome home surprise.

I'm all packed except for the clothes in the dryer Chris. Bet-Z is packing the food, everything else is ready. I gassed up this morning too.
