SS? Whats that.... Most folks say a drop pitman would cure DW....

And I just read that a loose trackbar allows wobble to start...

Steering stabalizer, I've always heard first check all steering linkages (good), get an alignment (done), check track bar (I can see its a bit off) then get new control arms

Mat i heard the old man emu ss is the best one for helping grand cherokees, its a big problem with our rigs.then double check that everything is tight and there is no play from worn out control arm bushings, you probably know all that, some peaple fight dw for along time, good luck.another thing is getting your steering link and tierod as paralel as possible.

Update: I just torqed the crap outta my TB and took it for a drive on the Strand, all seems to be well, but freeway on/off ramps are what really triggered it so I'll have to get up the balls to try it, I'm gonna go ahead and get a new SS and readjust my TB anyway just to be safe, if that fixes it all I need are tires and i'll be set to go.

Directions to Coyote Canyon:

From I8:
Going East on 1-8 take the Highway 67 off-ramp north to Ramona, Go through Ramona to Santa Ysabel. Turn LEFT on Highway 79. Travel approximately 10 miles to Highway S-2 (sign for "Borrego Springs - 24 miles"). Turn RIGHT on Highway S-2 and travel approximately 5 miles to Highway S-22 (second sign for Borrego Springs). Turn LEFT on Highway S-22. Highway S-22 Will take you through the small town of Ranchita and down a 12 mile 8% grade.
Though here I know is good, after i'm going from memory
At the STOP SIGN turn right and follow road to DI Giorgio road and take a left and follow it till it ends(or somthing like that) It shouldnt be to far past the trafic circle.

From I-15
Going NORTH on I-15 take the Poway off-ramp (Highway S-4). Continue on S-4 through Poway to the end, the stop light at Highway 67. Turn LEFT on 67. Go through Ramona to Santa Ysabel.

Which Coyote Canyon is the group planning on going to? There is an Upper Coyote and Lower Coyote. They used to be connected and there are plans to fight its closure in the near future.

I'm still seeing if I can go.

Well tommrow after work I'm gonna take my life in my hands again and see if I can't pick up some tires and a SS. I don't think I'll make it saturday because I don't have any jacks to readjust my TB so i'm gonna have to wait untill Sat when the auto hobby shop opens back up to get a lift. If I get it done early enough I might see if I can hook back up with you guys though.

Dave,

Which one would you suggest? Or which one would you do.

Matt,

I have jacks... and stands.... Get off your A$$ and lets get you on the trail... Tonight is good for me...

And besides.... what better way to test your steering than to go 80 on the freeway.

I'd probably do Lower Coyote just becuase it takes so long to get to the other one. Also if you finish itearly enough you can head over to Calcite Mine Trail or to the more scenic places like Font's Point.
