Pulling the AMC 360 out of the Wagoneer this weekend. I know you all want to be there...

I live in Alta Loma, off the 210... I think in three weeks I will lift it and put 33s on it.

I have a pool, tri-tip and beer for those old enough...

Hmmm... lets see... wheeling or wrenching.. wheeling or wrenching. Oh well... I guess I will be doing the engine myself.

Besides... I'm not sure if any of you have an economy car... as driving Matt's big *** jeep up here... would cost him a months salary.

AnyWay... Going to rent a hoist (New longblock to show up on Friday) Have to go home and start disassembly tonight.

Welder is sitting idle... have a 3 car garage...

Any takers?

Oh... btw... new number is...909.240.6276

Dennis, still going to CC on Sunday? Hopefully not tomorrow. I'm going to fix the front bump stops and the rear spring from popping out.

The last trip up to Pancake I popped my rear spring a few times. Fixed that problem today. I made some spring retainers and welded on some extensions.

Nice looking retainers Mark. Is there going to be some cushion on those bump stops? I'm taking the jeep in Monday to fix my creaking clutch linkage. They got the parts in this week. I don't think I'll be heading out to Coral Canyon tomorrow.

Eric, what scars did you get from CC, a sun burn?

Eric, you should have invested in a set of sliders instead of that locker. You'll need those more than the locker by the looks of things.

Oh, and here you go Eric http://morris2k.cti.depaul.edu/zevon/index.html

The bump stops are behind the post and stick about 1 inch lower.

Eric, not only is there a character driving the Jeep, your jeep finally got character. Sliders would have been nice.

Honestly, front locker helped me alot more than sliders. I got all that damage on one hill. I wouldnt have even got to that hill without a front locker. Youve ran bronco peak havent you? We went from the bottom up.
