Hello San Diego Thread!!

I've been on this forum for over a year and I just found this. Dooh. I see I have missed out on a lot of good wheelin' hopefully I won't miss out on any more. Does any one know what the deal is with the Lawrence Welk Trail, is it an off limits establishment or what. I live in Rancho Bernardo, so it's like ten min for me. Also the Green valley truck trail, some times the gate is open some times it's not. I think there is someone on here that lives is Poway that Might be able to help me out on this one.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, i live in Rancho Bernardo as well. Im next to the dennys, near the 15.

Lawrence Welk... cops and fire dept have no issues, however the land got bought out and its considerd private property now, so its hard to say what the deal is really. The 15 or so times ive gone ive had no problems.

Not sure where green valley truck trail is, however, there is otay lakes truck trail wich as far as im concerned is legal.

Oh yeah, i officialy conquered Corral Canyon. Ran bronco peak, and sidewinder from the bottom up, all the way. Best time i ever had.

Welcome to the sexiest thread on this board.

Eric covered the LW area, I've never heard of the Green Valley truck trail either though.

Oh yeah.......

Theres a few main people on here.

JPjeeper - creator of the thread, old man, moved to colorado, moved back, moved to colorado, moved back, moved to LA, will move back soon, id put money on it.

GroundClearence - President of TGC4x4.COM. Gay, yet quite badass, and possibly the most coolest person you will ever meet.

MrSnowman - Candadian, doesnt wheel, has a light blue yj. Doesnt wheel. When he does go wheeling, he doesnt show up. So untill then, hes just canadian.

Dionysius - "Enjoy every sandwich" He has a rubicon, just lifted it, his inclinometer is a cheap toy car, not even a hot wheels car. I tell you what Denis, ill pick you up a hot wheels jeep for it. And post pics in here if you see this of your inclinometer

Locked98GC - Lives down south, near otay, wich is where ive been goin alot lately. Does his own gears, every week he adds 4 more inches to his grand cherokee.

Knatdogg - Wheeled with him twice, hes stationed in washington, not east coast washington, and drives a station wagon. he is a troll, literaly. But a cool person.

ANd im Eric.

These are the primary sd threaders.

If you already knew that, then so be it.

I just had breakfast there this morning, are you in those white condos across the street? I'm at waterbridge on W bernardo dr. I don't have AIM (instant messanger??) But We'll have to get together, I just had a baby boy so I'm gonna be strapped for time these next few months.

The Green valley truck trail is about a half mile north of lake poway and it runs past the resiviour into I think Ramona or some where out there. Nothing special just a fire road.

Thanks for the dirt on everyone!

Jason

Yes jay, right across the street, you can see my APT from dennys. I also work at rite aid, so you can see my jeep in the parking lot there lol.

Id be intrested in doin that trail, if you called up the fire dept, and police dept (non emergency line of course) they should be able to tell you if its legal or not.
