A group of friends are heading out to Truckhaven over this weekend. I'm considering a day trip or one nighter.

I'm down for it too, I have Saturday off but Sunday duty though; I can't stay overnight, I'd have to come back cuz I have camping gear though.
Also, I went to truckheaven on the donavan prison entrance and the gate was closed, so I entered by the trail head at the first stop sign and found some nice mud holes to play around in. I didn't go all the way in cuz I had the kids in the car and was already late afternoon, so we just came back out. I did see a lot of trails that would eventually lead up to truck heaven trail with a GPS or someone who knows the trails better than me lol
I don't know if the campo rd. entrance is still open though?

You're gonna like having the on-board air. Did you do a tank too?

Ok, so who's down for a lil TruckHaven? I'd like to caravan with a few others if anyone is going.. Long drive to drive it solo plus I kinda forget where everyone camps when there and I don't know a soul so even if I saw you, I wouldnt know you... Im in mission valley and would be taking the 8 east to the 79, etc.... anyone going that way, give me a place to meet up... Looking to Stay Saturday night . Bon-fire, beer and some bbq sounds AWESOME!

Does anyone know where to pick up the old style staun beadlock valve stems at? I just need one. I'm hoping to get it before the Superstition Run in Jan.... fingers crossed. I'm pulling blanks all over the internet though. Any help is greatly appreciated. i'll reward the finder of said valve stem with numerous beers and high fives out in the desert.

well, due to an unexpected fund drainage, looks like TruckHaven is out for me. Also the 34 F weather overnight is probabably a bit low to be camping in a tent... Looks like a few of us are gonna go over to pancake rock or even Corral Canyon for a Saturday day run. Much much closer if any San Diegans are interested. Nothing hardcore. Just a nice day out poking around. Then again those casual wheeling days always get interesting......
