Let's run PR about 9, then LJWrangler can join us for CC at 1. I've done both in one day and it worked out fine. With just a few rigs it won't take long at PR. Meet at the Park and Ride I-8 and 79 at 9ish, leave for the trail at 9:30, air down at the usual spot, and run the trail. Then we can discuss CC as part 2. I'll be on CB channel 14, 2 meter 146.550 simplex. PM if you need my cell. Bring lunch and hot liquids to drink.

I wish. I drove the Jeep for the first time since JV today, delivering some beer to Joe's house, and I got DW. I need to rotate and balance the tires before I take it on the freeway. I'll be doing that on Monday.

So I would really like to go on this run. Since I've got a stock rig do I need to bring anything in particular? And also, where exactly is pancake rock?

OK,just meet us at the Park and Ride just off I-8 at the Hwy 79 turnoff. It's just north of the freeway. Look for my little blue TJ with 3 radio antennae.

Please do come along, I used to run this stock. Just have a tow strap handy and don't hesitate to ask for a spot. See above for directions to meeting spot. A CB will be a big help as well.

Doubt you saw me, I turned right after you drove by my street, figured you were on your way to Joe's.

This should give you an idea where we are meeting and where it is.

http://goo.gl/maps/6wBM1 <-- The dirt road left of the B is the trail.

It's not a very hard trail, though you can choose to make it more or less difficult. If anything it will test your articulation a lot, since the road typically has large ruts in it with occasional large rocks.

Here's a video I made early this year

I am stock with 32s and can make it with no problems.

If you don't have a CB let me know, I have a ton of those family talk radios that I can bring for relaying coms for those who do.
