That would probably work out great. Let me know the status.

Because I'm lazy

Honestly though, I don't have a press, and I want to do it right this time. Had to rebuild my trans because I didn't press the bearings on the main shaft when I swapped it out. Granted they were all very close, but alas, very close is not close enough. I've considered buying a made in China... er, I mean Harbor Freight... cheap shop press with a bottle jack.

I'm right behind you. I'm locating an axle then its full speed on the coil over conversion. Do you have any pics of the axle where your bump pad and coil mount, if you don't mind sharing trade secrets?

Haha, me too, had these coilovers staring me down for almost a year, pulled them off my buggy when I sold it, I picked up a pair of SAW 4" 2.0 bumps for $250 almost brand new! Now I need another set for the rear....I already have the coilovers and springs..

No secrets here, just figuring it out as I go along really.

The bump pad is the stock unmodified one, just made the new bump stop use the same strike pad, as far as the lower mount, I just cut out a plate and welded some tabs on it and welded it right on the flat spot where the stock lower shock mount is, so its in almost the same exact spot, just maybe about 3/4" more outboard..

I will get some more pics of it, PM me if you want my number, you can ask me questions if you want, I only charge $3 per answer, J/K..
Now on to installing the limiting straps.....gawd dam its humid today....ugh..

A buddy of mine asked if I may be interested in a FREE rear axle out of a 1984 Ford motorhome thing (I assume an E350). Says he believes it's a Dana 60HD. Would it be worth getting, especially if it's free? I'd probably try to trade it for an 8.8.

Do you have somewhere to store it? Pretty much anything free is worth getting.

They are out of a YJ so it has the CAD, Don't know what you need them for or if they will work but they are fine and free. Don't know if they will work in your LJ.
