My old shop in Miramar can do it. I might even be going back to work there, after I get bored with unemployment....
Hey Moose,

I did clear the code and it was good for about 2 days of light driving. Actually had me thinking we fixed it, then it came on again yesterday. I changed the oil and afterwards drove it to the 7-11, for some libations, and it stalled on me backing out of the parking spot and then again backing into my driveway. The 7-11 is close so i doubt the temp got to 210°

Any one working on their jeep today? I'm trying to install the speedhealer that come with the splice kit but the multimeter that I have is too cheap to test out the cables. Let me know if anyone can let me borrow a multimeter or give me a hand with this crazy directions. I have everything except a good multimeter.

Can you make it happen?
I've found plenty of AX15 but no BA10/5's.
Here's a pic of the two transmissions, BA10/5 on the left and AX15 on the right.

My guy is sucking hard. I'm not going to say he won't come through for us, but he's not on top of things like he normally is.

We will be modifying his "good guy" status accordingly.

What else did the BA10 come in? Any chance of an older XJ or maybe some other AMC vehicle?

I thought they had an 18 gal tank. after I ran it out of gas a block from my house I put in 17.5 with the caved in skid.

thank for the info guys,
the whole reason I was asking is because I was trying to do the mod of gaining 5 gallons to my tank by cutting the vent tube, and found out that the vent tube is smaller than the 8"-10" and also the sending unit has a 19TJ label on it. So it looks like my tank takes the full 19 gallons but when the Empty light show up I have about 4-5 gallons more in the tank.

I wouldn't rely on the empty light. mine doesn't always come on. I have a good idea of what kind of miles I can get out of tank, and after almost running out of gas during the blackout last year, I just make it a habit not to let the tank get much lower than a 1/4 before filling it up.
