Good philosophy overall but it's hard to find darker beers while abroad. Pilsners and Lagers are the most common in Europe so I have an appreciation for them as well. Leaving for France next week (TdF!!!) so I guess I'll get to enjoy what they offer as well. Never had French beer before...

I think after backpacking your bike through parts of France, then getting a break and riding it up some of the hills they have there, I'm sure whatever pilsner they put in front of you will be delicious

On another note, it looks like both you and Chad are looking to upgrade to the JKU.

Hard to find on a consistent basis though. Especially in the smaller towns and villages we tend to visit.

Agreed...having lived over there I drank and now drink mostly pilsners and hefes. I didn't see much dark stuff regularly

I can't confirm it but have been told VHT paints are amazingly good. They sell an all weather epoxy based paint. Give it a Google

I use rustoleum professional semi gloss black on all my under carriage parts. Holds up well, bonds great and matches factory chassis paint pretty well.

Krylon Rust Tough semi-flat black is an exact OEM frame color and sheen match.

I'll have to give the Professional Rustoleum a try and see how it does.
