Sweet! Got a finished picture of the whole thing? How does one go about bending 1/4" steel plate anyway?

I'm just the guy who had access to a bender; you will have to wait till Joe and Taylor finish it up. I don't own a XJ and nor have I ever been underneath one so can't give you much info on how it’s going to mount, etc...
As far bending 1/4" plate, good dies, and some strong hydraulic rams is about all you need. Of course it all depends on what you’re trying to do; you can see a portion of the bender in one of those photos.

thanks a lot man. I owe you for sure!

hopefully next week I will be able to get the Jeep over to Joe's place so we can weld the gussets and brackets on and get it bolted up.

does anybody have a SYE they want to get rid of? I'm also looking for a pair of axles. Dana 44's are OK but prefer 60's, full width is fine as well. i dont think this d30/8.25 combo will last long with me behind the wheel. I'm trying to get all my parts lined up before I go long arm on this heep. thanks!

Sunday Run?

Anyone up for a run this Sunday? LW or maybe Coyote Canyon or Superstition?

Actually, planning to go to superstition tomorrow. Did not mention it because just decided a little while ago.

Only a few more chances to break things before it gets too hot out there. Planning to find the rest of the level 4 trails.
