We did this a while back and met up at Callahan's. It was a good time.

Why risk it? I've wheeled at LW several times myself and never had any trouble.
But I also had a high clearance in the AF and I know how hard it is to maintain it, let alone get it.
There are so many other places that are legal to wheel in here in So Cal.
JMHO but I know I wouldn't chance it. All it takes is once.
It's a cool trail but not fantastic.
Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it.

Hey Sam! No, we still have the SD page if that's what you mean.
Did you buy another Jeep yet?

I like going here. It's near the Bonita golf course.
It has a new upper section, and a lower section. Each site has a fire pit, picnic table, and most have water & electric. Plus the new upper section has mostly full hook-ups.

HAHA, not exactly. I got the "original" sports utility vehicle....another VW Beetle.
I'm in the process of cleaning it up and lifting it. Gonna rock it Class 11 style. It doesn't have 4WD but it will still go plenty of places.

Isn't that the campground that overlooks the SR125?
Wonder if there's any decent Jeeping places around there... Seems like there could be plenty, although I know they've basically shut down all offroading in the southern side of east lake
