Yes to vertical and no to overhead... I will be sporting a full asbestos suit if I have to weld overhead.

ha its not too bad.....just dont stand directly underneath (duh.)

And all I can say is the more you practice the better your welds will get.

The bumpers need to happen fast... and like I said, somebody needs to read what we need to attach them to the Jeep.

As for what you need to bring,

At least a 54" piece of 4"x2"x1/4

2 1" thick by 2" or 3" Solid bar for tow points I would assume they need to be at least 6" each leaving almost 4 inches in front of bumper

Whatever we decide to connect it to the jeep with.

Also if you want to make it an air tank now or later bring the fitting to drill in and test if it is air tight...

My large drill has been borrowed but I have a 5/8 drill bit

Coming from San Diego, Take the 15N to Deer springs rd, merge right, Take the first left at the stop sign onto what I think is champagne, then go straight until you get to the gas station, and take a left, start up the hill, take the first left and follow that all the way to the top of the hill, there will be a unlocked gate at the top.

Meet at the gate?

Any chance for an earlier departure?

Like... 8? going to get hot fast up there and lots of work to do if I get out of there earlier... you know... WELDING STUFF....

So how do you think I would do with no front driveshaft and an open carrier in the back?
