the small 120 volt welders can do up to 1/4 inch metal, i have a welder but im barely learning myself. so i wouldnt be a good teacher. eric show some pics of your body damage.

I had a 120V welder and got rid of it. If you do get one, make sure you get a bottle of helium/nitogen mix. Using fluxcore wire isn't very good.

I think I will be getting a 120v that does both flux and solid wire.

I know it might be a waste but I am moving and don't have a 220 in the garage, so I want to weld now until the house sells. so I was going to do light practice welds. If I learn one thing so far is, you need to practice to be good at it. I will be getting tons of scrap and just welding the crap out of stuff for practice.

Eric, it looks like the TDS run was a really good time. Did you make it out to Fish Creek or Sandstone Canyon while you were out there?

I just did the BMML and BL on mine yesterday. I'm hoping to finish the lift installation Friday. Gotta get some jack stands.
