I hear ya'.

My Jeep is pretty much immobile at this point with no front axle installed. I'm working on that though.

I had to run to get another 4.5" angle grinder. Mine was acting up too much and has some safety concerns, so a new one was in order.

I removed my front bumper to make it easier to grind the shackle mounts off and to grind off the front crossmember snout & do the welding of the new outboard mounts.

The front spring hangers under the firewall are next up to be removed......

Sounds like the fun I'll be having getting the windshield and it's hinges off. No one has given me a positive but of feedback regarding the replacement of them. Just hoping I don't end up having to rip the whole dash off if something acts up with the nuts inside.

Just waiting on my package from Morris 4x4 center. New hinges, torx bolts, soft top retainers, side markers, and a cowl seal that isn't solidified

It's the last package I can afford until hours increase at work, back to 3 days a week with 1200$ in parts to go for the driveline overhaul.

Lol, sounds like everyone is in thrash mode. Brown Santa dropped off my blue torch fab radiator hoop and stinger kit the other day. Days off are screwy this week. Actually off thursday and friday so its gonna have to wait til then.

Did get my old crappy pipe brush guard hacked off, yanked the winch. Looks like it needs some tlc as well. Definitely a fresh coat of paint. Though I'm thinking I'm gonna tear it apart and grease it and check the internals since I have it off anyway.

I work a long day tomorrow between both jobs, then one more time, prolly on thursday for my second job. I'm on a mini-vacation pretty much this week. Gonna do some fishing, and hopefully get the damn doors off my jeep.

a little curious. I have a YJ and I am not familar with th TJ hinges but each door has 2 hinges. To remove the door, I lift the door removing 2 pins a the same time.

How did you get one pin out with out removing both at the same time?
I don't think they come out seperately.

I maybe wrong but I hope you're not trying to pop them out like a pin in a door hinge to your bedroom.

Its been a busy weekend. Took and passed my HAM license. Wired up the jeep for my CB and then wired up the Ham radio. Just need to buy an antenna for the Ham. Then my son and I did some vinyl repair to fix the hole we burned the seat last weekend. Want to go wheel'n up at pancake rock but probably can't go for several weeks - too many things on the weekend.

May have scored a free Gran Torino today. Met a property owner who has a lazy client who has left his Gran Torino on a piece of property for 2 years and doesn't wanna fix it and move it. The property owner wants it gone so the Torino's owner agreed to give it to whoever would tow it.

I didn't get to fully agree to it in person but he gave me his number so I left him a voicemail after I finished my show in PB today.

Hopefully he calls back, I could dig having a Gran Torino :P starts but doesnt run. Figure some fluids and new gas can help with that.

Essentially yes. Doors haven't been taken off before, so that's how I am going to do it. I am doing to replace the door bolt/pins/whatever after I get the doors off and clean out the hinges of the gunk thats in them.

What Dave said. The pins are pressed/welded/part of the door half of the hinge. Without major surgery the only real way to get the door off is lift up the whole thing.

Well while hammering at the door nuts to help push the doors up, of the was knocked up and out of the hinge. Now on the passenger side door, the whole hinge was being pushed up.
