hbmex, if you are doing this yourself, read as many articles as you can on the subject. It is doable if you are mechanically inclined (be honest with yourself). Take your time, take your time and take your time and it'll go good. I'm doing 4.88's this weekend in my 8.8 and will take me a better part of 8-10 hours over the 2 days and I have done this before on about 8 axles with no problems.

What do I need to bring with me? Tent, food, water, firewood, etc? Ive never been, so I dont know what to expect. Is anyone leaving around the same time as me want to show me the way?

Is the draw camping?

I still don't know where waiting even longer than we do for Eric on a trail would be much fun... I think I will head out tomorrow to look the place over. We did that last year...

I support TDS but I don't think there is enough room in Octillo for that many rigs...

Anyone up for a run this weekend?

Im going to be in Palm Springs this weekend but let me know what you find. It would be cool to have a decent sized group going from here.

Once a year. Huge event. Lots of people. Lots of vendors

Mike, are you stoppin by tonight?

Jeff, theres the organazied trail runs, and the free roam. Im goin with a guy who does his own trail, so you dont have to wait for people, as much.

JPjeeper i am up for a run just let me know when and where. Took a long time to finish but while i had the axel apart i changed the ujoints.

its not waiting on people eric, its waiting on you.
it takes like 20 minutes to convince you to attempt something.

yea i just had to change my motor mount, there was barely anything left to it on the driver side, i think it was around $25 at autozone, not too expensive and it took around half an hour to an hour to put in. never done one b4 but it wasnt that difficult.
