Thanks for the offer, Tom. I may take you up on that if things come together as planned.

Oh yea.

I really need to completely remove my HPD30, take the axle shafts, knuckles, spindles, hubs, brakes, steering, rock skid, ARB etc off of it since most of the stuff is going to a new home.

Looks like the ARB & rock skid are up for grabs/sale if somebody wants either/both of them. The rest of the stuff is spoken for.

I also need to fab the outboard stuff.

Wouldnt be so sure about assist and those tires. Sure assist will work in tough spots. I came off a 6 foot verticle drop, tires turned into the driver side ( no choice left and down). With the weight of my junk on the tires the assist did nothing ( need to go right at bottom). Had to have another rig wank my front end out.

Assist works good up forward but not down when the weight of your junk is on the steering.

Post up the final steer mods.

ANyone who knows Corral Canyon interested in making a run next weekend? I have a friend who hasn't taken her Jeep off road yet and it's a friggin Shame. I've never been out there either but it looks to be a fun time. Her Jeep will make it through just about anything but I'd like to keep it a bit calm so she can get a feel for it first. I'm shooting for Saturday am time frame if anyone is interested in being a trail guide.

I wouldn't be much of a trail guide, but I'd like to tag along.

Chris - I spotted my old stainless steel spare brakeline if you need it. IIRC its ~6" longer than stock but too short for me to run except as a trail spare.

I might check it out. I grabbed a stock one from steve today but I don't know if my jeep has extended lines or just brackets

Does anyone know if the newer U-shaped intake manifolds (2001+?)interchange with the older square type like in my 97'.

Probably not a huge different but I cant help but think that the newer one is a little less restrictive, flows better, something?

The reason I ask is because I was thinking about swapping one in since I found one for cheap, may not even be worth it, but when you compare the two it sure seems that air would have a much easier time getting through the newer one, if I was air thats the one I would want to be flowing through ....
