A big BooHOO...

Just found out that the Rubicon Unlimited is on the Custom shaft list at Tom Woods (Loose translation)

I need to get it all set-up and then send the measurements in to get a custom shaft.

I can still do the lift... I will just have front wheel drive for a bit.

Not sure if its different on a ZJ but on my XJ I just used my trusty angle grinder.

I have a little place near my house that is pretty fun....
Maybe we will do a little run... I have two jeeps... after the lift chances are my drive shaft won't work. I have a new one on order so I could take the old gal out instead.

Suppositly there are some places, I have yet to find them....really after my last incident with mud I've had enough. (I sunk up to my windows: blew my engine and my interior still smells funky) Rocks are more fun anyway.

Jeff did you make any progress with the lift today?

Oh yeah "master chef" (sorry) can ya send me thoughs flex pics to mattanunn@teamgroundclearance.com

Matt,

I just got back in from doing a little bit of tightening. But for the most part, still close to where we left it.

I felt really burnt out today with a raging headache. Must have been too much "Gorilla exersion" But I have most of the back tightened and need to finish that and then the front, then bleed the brakes then try it out.

Gained 5 inches total. and almost 8" gain at the transfer case. This is all before the bigger tires. BTW you read that right... 7.75" higher transfer case with an unlimited.

Yes, (Sunday run)

But I have to finish tonight to even have a chance to get it out there...

Unless of course the driveshaft magically flys here from Utah. I need the measurements to get the shaft. Shock shifters should be here by Thursday. I should be able to bleed the brakes and tighten everything tonight if the girlfriend lets me. Then the swaybar disconnects should be able to go on tomorrow. I don't want to drive it until the shock relocators are here but after that, I should be golden, I think I can drive it with the stock shaft but I will see when the relocators come in.

Crap... Just read what those spacers were for.... I love directions don't you... (IF TERAFLEX ONLY SENT THEM WITH THIER PRODUCTS)
They are a motor mount lift that is used for the transfercase skid. GRRRR>.. now I have to do that too.

Ok, Last night here is what I got done on the lift.

1. I got the shock relocators FedEx so I installed them. Now the shocks don't hit the spring perches but one now contacts my exhaust (Have to get that moved)
2. Adjust the front trackbar.
3. Tightened every freakin bolt under both front and back.
4. Installed my Gen2 Disconnects

Left to do.

1. Motor Mount lift.
2. Bleed the brakes. (Have to buy banjo washers)
3. Pre-Alignment
4. Remove the DS and measure for new one then re-install
5. Re-check front trackbar (With the tires so far from the fenders its hard to tell if I got it lined up or not)
6. Take it in and have it aligned, weld the nutsert that is spinning on the TC skid, exhaust moved.
