Welcome back Masterchief....
THE LIFT ARRRIVED LAST NIGHT....
This does not bode well for going off roading this weekend, but WRENCHING Party... HOOOO....
If you read the thread all the way through you will notice I have been busy.
I'm a pro now... you rookie... haha... not really but I have learned a lot.
Hope your vacation was good.
Give me a call..

Dave,
All I need is a 5/16 drill bit a huge wrench and an angle drill. (Might have to rent the drill) So this Saturday is a go.

FYI,
If anyone needs a set of TerraFlex disconnects for a TJ, used 2 weeks let me know... I will sell them for 40 bucks.
BTW... these disconnects are for 0-4" lift... I got a new set in my lift kit.
Local pick-up only... We can meet on the trail and install them if you like.

I'll take em, I'm ordering my lift next week! FINNALY!!
:edit: I just looked at terraflex's website and they have diffrent one's for TJ and ZJ unlike most other companys, Just a strap from what I can see though, so I still think I should be able to get them to work...

Ok... Disco's are yours Ground...If you think they will work.
Master Chief, Saturday is Lift day... I will be preping the Jeep Friday night...You know putting it up on the jackstands removing wheels, the normal stuff. And I hope to start bright and early. Dave has stated he wants to be there because he wants the same lift. He has not responded yet but I will be starting by 9 A.M, worst case senario is 8 hours. So it should take at least 10.
Oh, and anybody that shows up I will show my secret wheeling spot near my house.

FYI, a suit has been filed to get the middle section opened. Here's an interesting read:
http://www.corva.org/Latest_Issues/C...Suite%201.html
It'd be neat to drive the trail, but I bet the traffic gets out of control if it's opened...

Ground,
I figure if I invite lots of people a couple might show up...
I need at least two people for some of the heavier stuff... I am pretty sure Master Chief will show up, not certain about DSsundance. You are welcome to come even if you just wanted to pick-up your disconnects.
I live up behind Escondido in a sleepy little town known as Valley Center.

Getting closer,
I have three confirmations...
Ground Clearence
Master Chef <--- I love that...
DSundance...
Last night I got the floor jack and 4 jackstands from Harbor Frieght for $106.
I still need a 5/16th inch drill bit and possibly an angle drill.
I will rent the angle drill if I need it.
The Belly up skid and Driveshaft yoke came in last night, so I hooked up the bracket for the compressors (Lockers) to the belly up and played with the floor jack, trying to get enough height, The axles droop a hell of a lot when the jeep is jacked from the frame.
The only thing not it is the driveshaft.
