Yep, here they are.
I still have a pretty low COG too.
Getting a little rub on the rock sliders; I never trimmed off the extra when I did the tube fenders.
And, before.......

Hope the color matched well.
Jeff said that he loves those tires, even those there is a small tire rub issue. More mods required...

The fender is a perfect match. I'm hoping to get it installed this weekend. Thanks again!

I have an idea on what to check next and, like the fender, am hoping to get to it this weekend.

Are you guys swapping wheels or was that just a temp situation. If you need to get onto base to mount them let me know.
Another project I started tonight and am gonna be grinding away at...
The garage finishing has begun!

I finally got the my radiator done. It was just getting the funds and getting over to my buddy. We started at 5:30 had a couple issues mainly size of our hands and bolts, then dinner break and we were done by 9-9:30 ish. I am sooo happy now I actually feel like part of the forum. Thanks again for my stupid a$$ questions .

Rik, I went with the M.O.R.E. bombproof mounts in my YJ with the Poly bushings. I've had them for 6 years now without a single issue. The brown dogs Eric had looked decent too though. btw had any luck with your pinball yet? I just had to troubleshoot and fix our Gilligan's Island pin that we got last week. Ball was getting stuck in one of the back lanes. ran thru the manual and figured out which solenoid it was. popped it open and tilted the playfield up, multimeter in hand. figured I'd check if it was getting power. Didn't even get the probe to it when I noticed that one wire had broken at the solder and was just hanging there. Soldered it back on and its worked great ever since
Edit:
Steve, next time you want to get rid of some 35" Xterrains call me!! I have one enw one and three going bald with several plugs in em but i'm too cheap to go buy new ones!

That was a test fit and they worked, next is swapping rims, etc, so yeah, an on-base trip would be great.
Let us know if we need to schedule a Garage Repair Day

Good to see that your Jeep repair party went well.
AND
remember, the stupid a$$ question is the one you did not ask.

Let me know when you guys want to head that direction and we can make plans to go.
I am planning on staying in the garage all weekend. The rain is making it real easy. I did some searching and the highest R rating on garage door kits is 8. Thats kinda a bummer. That is gonna be the 'weak' spot in the whole place.

I never saw the point in finishing my current garage out. My Jeep doesn't fit in it so theres not much point. Not like i can work on it in there anyway.

Nope. Really low on the priority list right now. I'll wait until the day before a party to try and fix it.
So, here was the ad Richie spotted in the LA area Craigslist.....

Lightly Used Jeep Wrangler Rims - $100 (Marina Del Rey)
Date: 2010-02-17, 5:13PM PST
5 Lightly Used Jeep Wrangler Rims.
Had less than 5,000 miles when I switched them off.
Came standard on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and fit the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R Tires (Size: 245/75R16).
Looking for $25/rim or $100 for all 5.
Thanks.

He called me four hours after it posted. No phone number, so I thought they would be gone. I shot him an email anyway.
He emailed me back and said when can I come get them.
So, I took the kids and we went to pick them up. Took an hour and fifteen to get there, and we spent the rest of the morning on the Santa Monica Pier, then lunch at Bubba Gump's.
The wheels look like they were never installed. I'm a happy camper.

Sweet deal, I'm amazed no one jumped on them, it was meant to be.
Love Santa Monica Pier, used to live about two blocks away when I was Matt's age, was down there almost every day back when it was known as POP
