Thanks. I'd like to ride next to or with somebody that has them. I like the aggressive looks and they look like they would hook up well.

I can. Your headlights are the wrong shape. A sawzall and some bondo should allow the installation of the correct rectangular lights.
Hope that helps. Just doing my part.

I think those two sizes are the same.
Not sure what brand or type tire to get tho'.
I'm pretty happy with the traction and quietness of the BFG/AT's I have now.
But maybe a bit more aggressive might be in my future. Not mudders or any huge cleat type tire that is noisy on the street.
Open to opinions and suggestions (on tires only!)

I like my BFG KM2's. They're no where near as loud as I expected them to be. Great traction too. You're more than welcome to take a listen some time.
Looks like they're finally coming off back order. My 35" spare I've had on order for almost 3 months finally came in this week. No excuses to miss TDS now.

How much is the best price available for those?
And now I have to start looking into a better spare carrier, thanks for reminding me. That POS carrier bolted to the tailgate isn't going to work out for a 33.
So on another note, I've ordered my body lift but not the MM lift. Pretty sure I'm going to just order the JKS MM spacers. Make's sense.
Richie ordered some new headlights that I'm wanting to check out with H4 bulbs. If they aren't bright enough for my liking I'll pull the trigger on the HID ones for $100 with shipping.
I ordered some 3M plastic overlay stone guards for the Hella 550's, and some smoked TJ side marker lights. I'm going to pick up some tint spray for my front turn signal lens' today.
I pick up the Rubicon wheels tomorrow and drop them to be black powdercoated to my neighbor. Should be ready in a week or less.
The shiny chromy blingy stuff is going away slowly.
Now I just need to win the lottery to buy the tires.

There is a guy at Discount Tire in Oceanside (I wanna say Dave) who is also a member of a local offroad club. If you talk to him he will give you a pretty damn good deal. I went through my local Discount Tire for mine because they price matched tirerack.com (beat the OC price). I believe Discount had them listed for $40 or $50 more but had no problem matching the website. I know Costco has them at a fairly competitive price as well plus they match like Discount. I wish I would have gone with Costco though simply because I get 2% back at the end of the year for all purchases. Oh well.

Just finished marking the site in Google Earth. for some reason Google Earth is giving me slightly different co-ordinates than what my Garmin is giving me. But I know I marked the Garmin waypoint sitting at camp back in 05.
Anyway, here is the google earth image of the Adult camp site
Google Maps Link to the area:
and the co-ordinates from Google Earth:
33°17'35.10"N
116° 0'0.01"W
So yeah, roughly about there

Mine worked just fine after i modded it. My 33s with aluminum rims only weighed 5lb more than my 31 with stock steel wheels.

Tomorrow (Saturday) Kevin will be coming by my place ~8:00 in the morning to start building his rockers (similar to Rik's).
If somebody needs some welding, plasma work, chopsaw, drill press work or general tinkering, my garage/driveway is open & available all day as long as you'll work around us since he has the priority.

Well i came pretty close to getting a jeep. My godmother used to give me savings bonds for christmas and my birthday, but she passed away recently unexpectedly. This afternoon i got a thick envelope from a lawyer, opened it up and there was an inch stack of savings bonds that were left for me. Anyways there was enough for me to be able to sell my bronco and be able to buy a 2000 TJ, but im gonna pay off all my credit cards, and have some left over too. So once everything goes through i will be debt free for the first time in about 5 years, and ill be saving 200 bucks a paycheck. Woot.

80% chance of rain tomorrow. Careful using a welder in the rain.
Take lots of pics too.
So, I went ahead and placed the order fot the Brown Dog 1" motor mounts in the ultra-flex rubber.
Now I have to wait for the brown Santa.
Anybody wanna' have a modding meet at my house next weekend?

Youll like those MMs. Mine vibrated the jeep more, but they are solid. The ultra flex rubber you speak of will probably help quite a bit. They are yellow too, with american flag stickers on em. That was probably the strongest part on my jeep.

That was probably the only strong part on your Jeep
Speaking of KM2's, I had a visitor today while I was at work:

I went ahead and paid the extra for the rubber because if I wasn't satisfied with the poly ones, I didn't want to have to do the same job twice. It was worth the extra few bucks.
I just wish they came in red.
