Hey Rik, Is this an actual place up there?

“During these economy time, the street of Bainbridge Cir, Murrieta Ca thought we would do something to put a smile on peoples faces. So the block decided to do something different this year for Christmas, we synchronized all 12 houses to music. It came out very impressive and it is a must see as the video does not do it justice. This was a team effort with the entire neighborhood getting involved. It started back in May with a simple discussion on what it would take. Next thing we know it was done. It has really brought the entire neighborhood together. You have to see it to believe it.”

I am gonna try and go by there tonight and check it out. That looks pretty cool. That is over near Murrieta Hotsprings and Winchester.

Kim and I are thinking about driving up and checking this out tonight. We will probably eat at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Anyone else interested?

OK then....
Chris and family will be leaving at the same time as Rik and family to meet at Buffalo Hot Wings.
There is another one that is well worth seeing just off Los Alamos. They have so many lights he has to borrow power from his neighbors, and his wife decorates the inside of the house for tours. VERY well done. Shows every 15 minutes.
He told me his electric bill goes up to $2500 just for Christmas. It's been on the news every year.
I've never seen the Bainbridge one.

So one thing that seems more or less like an affordable upgrade is a full front axle so I can eliminate this posilock (which is a beast to engage). I know I came across some different threads and was wondering if anyone would suggest the swapping in of a TJ/XJ axle or just doing the work to adapt a full length shaft into the existing axle?

A TJ D30 will be low pinion, an XJ's D30 may or may not be low pinion and some had the vacuum disco like the YJ's.

You'd have to address the coil buckets, shock mounts, tracbar & swaybar (if you run them) as well with either of those axles.

I think it'd be alot easier to swap in a 1 piece passenger side inner shaft along with the matching outer shaft (since the 1 piece axle shafts use different sized ujoints) along with the new sized carrier seal.

The Bainbridge Circle thing was cool.
Every house on the cul-de-sac was decorated and tied to the computer, and linked to an FM broadcast on 88.1 FM. No speakers, so you just sit in your car and watch.
Pretty clever.
Chris and Krista, me, Betsy and the kids headed over to another house on the way home.
The guy has 125,000 lights on the outside of his house, tied to a computer with music, and a big video screen in the front yard, along with decorations and a snow machine. The inside was decorated as well.
Good beer and good conversation at Buffalo Wings and Things prior to the lights.
Fun spontaneous evening.

That was very cool, thanks for organizing it, or shaming me into driving up, or encouraging me to do the right thing. Whatever.

I need one of these

Wasn't me, it was Jason. He called me. I didn't even know about that Bainbridge one until he called.
It was good to see you guys again. Thanks for the "stuff". Now I just need Richie to get it installed. His business is really cranking this time of year, so he hasn't touched his Jeep for a while.

I'm gunna' finish up my last minute shopping today, and put my soft top on my Jeep for the run on the 27th.

Okay
Tis the Season for a Jeep Repair Party.

I am going to be starting, and hopefully completing some axle swaps out in the Clairmont area. I have Thursday and Friday off to work on this.
Is there anyone that would be interested in assisting me?

I plan on starting about 10 AM
