The axle breaking wasn't a problem for anyone because it can happen to anyone. We had spare axles as well. The way it broke caused it to get stuck in the locker making it impossible to replace. Everyone was pretty annoyed that someone would go off roading without brakes working at a 100% level. I'm sure he kept quiet at first because we would would have made him park the Jeep before the run even began.

I have . They're in El Cajon
I got a set of axles with 4.56 gears and lockers
They swapped the front and rear gears into my YJ.
I was happy.
Cheaper if you take the whole unit out and they do it on the bench.

There has been talk of a camping trip maybe this weekend but it's been on the down low because I, and everyone else, has been sick with colds.

Health permitting we should at least do a day run, too much time is going by.

After two days off work sick I'm feeling progressively better as the weekend approaches, tomorrow is my "Friday" and then off for three days. I'm good for a camping trip, I prefer the south desert as in a few miles north of the I-8. I just need to grab the RV, fill it up and go. The Jeep? Well, toss in some gas and see what happens

cool, well let me know if you ever get a chance. so far online seems to be fairly over priced for a bunch of welded together metal.

Keep an eye on Craigslist. sometimes you can find a good one on there too.
