I would so do that. That looks like a blast. I've always wanted to try street louge (sp?). No good roads around here for it tho'. Too many cars.

Just home to less carnage than I was expecting. We had tarped in the back porch yesterday and one had come loose and flapped around knocing over and breaking a few dishes, no big loss. Both ez-ups were still in place and everything else is pretty much in place and dry.

Sweet, glad that worked, how'd the carport hold up, oh wait...

Better than we fared at my work, major damage from rain and wind. Two feet of water and rising in the garage basement - a city storm drain ruptured, maxed the sump pumps to failure, 30+ cars damaged. Lots of wet carpet, window seals blown out from the wind. How windy is it downtown? We had a solid wood interior door snapped in half by a wind gust. And this is a big, four foot wide, nine+ foot tall fire door at the top of the escalators; some Christmas decorations just flat disappeared, sixth floor fountain blowing sideways, glass doors with snapped locks from the wind...

A fun day at work. Seems like we need to make a run out to the desert and check out the trail re-arranging

I don't know if our carport plan would have stood up to this, may have to rethink it a little.

It's blowing and gusting right now as hard as it was when I got home and the lights have blinked a couple of times. San Diego weather sucks.

You big sissies!!!! The temp when I went to school today was 20 degrees, with the windchill around 7-8!! It's even too cold to snow, but there isn't any moisture in the air. It is about 10% humidity now. Makes the cold even worse. My house thermostat is set at 50 and it feels almost like a sauna. It's almost too cold to go wheeling, even. But there's no place to go anyway. And they have a thing here called the "Gorge Wind". Like a Santa Ana but COLD. 60 MPH is average for this. I'm a BIG guy, as most of you know, and it almost blows me over.

Happy Holidays Guys. I really miss y'all, and I miss Sandy Eggo, too.

Don't worry, the sun will come out in Oregon. I think it's scheduled for June 8th

holy crap did i get hit HARD yesterday! took the power lines down in teh alley behind my house and dropped them on my van and my neighbors truck (jeff, it landed on patricks dodge), picked up my patio set in teh back yard and dropped it on my neighbors truck about a 100 yards away, took out the fence, another fence a few doors down, flooded my neighbors garage, my windows nearly blew out from teh wind and the rocks coming off my neighbors roof, ripped one of my screens off and wrapped it around my hand rail and blew everything off my porch. wow! it was windy as all hell for a while...then this MASSIVE gust came off the ocean for about 5-10 minutes and then came the rocks...and my dogs from teh room, shaking! i looked out the window and all i saw was white out from teh rain. i seriously couldnt see any of my neighbors houses!! we had a cop block off my alley for about 4 hours until the utilities came out with a crane truck to fix the lines. after the wind "died down", my neighbor and i walked to the cliff line out back and nearly got blown off our feet from the wind coming off the ocean. so awesome!

oh yea, i got a call from a GF back home...they got 2.5' of snow over night (night before last) and 3.5' on the pass (donor). i hope my jeep gets fixed soon so i can cruise up and do some snow wheeling/skiing!
