Thanks. I was going through withdrawels big time. I lost a month's worth of pictures and data because I didn't back up every two weeks like usual. Now I have it set to back up every night. Hard drives are cheap and the software is easy for automatic backups. How could I have been so complacent? Doh!

I was just reading through the threads and saw somebody wacked your Jeep. That totally blows! What's the status with the insurance company? You coming over to the dark side with us cool square headlight guys?

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving week. 63 family members showed up (thank God they all stayed in local hotels) and we partied all week until Sunday morning. They came from all over the US for the family reunion we have every two years. Next time it's at somebody else's house (thank you Lord) in Arizona.
We devoured tons of food and two kegs of beer, wine, liquor, more food, more beer, and had margaritas in the slushy machine. There were about twenty kids under age 12 that were terrorizing the place, but they had fun too.
Christmas party is next. The entire school district that Betsy works for and all our local families will be here. Then NO MORE PARTIES until April.

Any modding parties planned for anytime soon?

yea, it was a pretty gnar wreck...for him! LOL his (dad's) insurance company and the owner of the vehicle ins company are draggin their feet. more or less because it wasnt his car he was driving. the owners ins company is 'investigating the matter'. i'm waiting for a call back tomorrow to see whats up. his (dad's) insurance company is more then willing to cover the damage if they back out....which i hope they do or dont do soon. at any rate, i really hope they total the thing out...and i would love to convert to the dark side! the GF has one with a 4 banger though...DEF not going that route! LOL if they dont damage it out and issue me to a repair shop after i get an estimate i might try to settle for cash (IE: its 5-6k worth of repair, give me 5 and ill do it myself, etc.) i could drop that towards a few bills and pay off a lot of what i owe...which isnt to much at this point thk god. in the mean time, im driving around the 1993 work bang bus...err, econoline. lol

2 kegs of beer? wow! good job mate!

We still have a little bit left in the MGD keg. Wasn't as popular as the Corona.
Somehow we went through three bottles of Tequila and two bottles of Malibu Rum, amoung other stuff. Buncha' barrachos! Time to re-stock the liquor cabinet.

Hope all works out well for your insurance debaucle. Sux to have to go through all that crap when it wasn't your fault.

So soime guy in a Jeep lost control of it and went down an embankment in Temecula last week. Not wearing a seat belt, and was "partially ejected". Pronounced DRT (dead right there).
He was driving a 68 Jeep (assumed Wrangler). Anybody know him?
I'll see if I can find the story again...

Found it. Hope it's not anybody from JF....

A roll-over accident killed a 42-year-old Temecula motorist last night when he rolled a 1968 jeep down an embankment, according to Riverside County sheriff's officials.
Timothy Kleinman died at the scene of the 9:52 p.m. wreck Sunday along the 33000 block of Camino Piedra Rojo.
Kleinman was speeding in a southwesterly direction when the Jeep left the roadway and landed on its right side, Sgt. Mark Leggett said in a written statement. The victim was the Jeep's only occupant. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected, according to the statement.
The roadway was closed for five hours during the investigation.

^ Damn, that's unfortunate. Wear your seat belts! If he was wearing his he might still be here.

Hey Rik. I called your cell phone and left a message yesterday.
WTF? Long time, no hear.
Took the Monty to the river via towbar behind the RV and went off-roading for Thanksgiving.
It looks exactly like this one: Auto Imaging 1.0
Let me know if/when you wanna camp at Ocotillo Wells....
