Good to hear Jeff! I'm interested how the end result looks after the paint job you were working on came out.

Paint came out great. Back together is going a little slow because I am taking the time to fix up some wiring and put in new dash speakers. Plus, yesterday I put in the headlights and trim rings then realized I had to take them back out to be able to bolt on the fenders . DOH!

I have all sorts of plans on the "while I'm at it" list. Tailgate is off, might as well do a CJ tailgate conversion. Roll bar is out, might as well bedline. Dash is out, new speakers. For now I have resisted most of this.

Maybe you should do a full roll cage too...and a new rear swing out bumper / tire carrier...gas cans...wire controls for a rear winch...and run wiring for a rear camera...

BOATSIDES

Actually I already started on the bumper/tire carrier. I'm gonna get it back in wheeling condition and do all that other stuff as time permits.

Hi everyone. Kind of new to the site. Not sure if I should be posting here or somewhere else? I live in San Diego (Poway area) but my Jeep lives at my river place , I use it for winter fun and to launch and retrieve my boat. This seems like a great site with so much information, I am having overload symptoms, hopefully my eyes will straighten out soon.

You're in the right place if you want to stay in touch with San Diego people. Welcome.

Welcome to the San Diego thread. Perhaps someday you can hit the trails with us too. We normally make a run (in the cooler weather) at least once a month. Keep an eye out on this thread for more details on runs.
