Rik -

Here are the drive shafts I have. I think the one on the bottom is what you need.

Looks good, Jeff! Can't wait to see it after you finish with all the odds and ends, etc... Did you get the new tube fenders painted up as well while you were at it?

I still have to finish welding a couple of braces on the fenders but I'll be done with that this week. The paint is fully dry but still a little soft so I'm gonna let it sit for a few before putting it back togther.

I think the next major project is either axles for Jimmy or Jasons lift. All hands on one jeep seems like the best way to go for these major jobs.
I am gonna need a hand with the lift and SYE.

Like Jeff said, I think we just need to pick a project/Jeep for the day/weekend and hit it hard until its done. I won't be ready for at least 2 weeks. Waiting on parts. I am starting the overhaul of my brakes today though.

Before I put my roll bar back in I want to rhino line the floor of the tub. There is a guy in Santee that does it for a lot cheaper than the actual rhino line but it's the same stuff, I have seen his work. If anyone else is interested let me know and maybe we can do a group price.

Like to do it pretty soon

I want to help, but I let my ex take my kids every other weekend. This coming weekend she has them, so I can help out at least one day.
I need SYE install experience for mine.
We can use my garage if you all want to drive up this way. My garage air conditioner should be finished being repaired this week.

Last time I talked to him he tossed out $300 but he is a private guy and can deal, plus the more we have the better.

After seeing many herculiner jobs I am not interested in going that way but the thick stuff has real benefit.

I just never saw the point of herculining the tub.
If it's for noise, the top is off, it's already noisy.
If it's for rust, shouldn't you do the underside too, and wouldn't moisture find it's way between the metal and the herculiner?
I'm just not understanding it.
Splain pleze.

herculiner is just really thick paint. Rhino and similar are 1/4" thick, or more.

For me I would like to deaden some of the engine heat, I have seen it sprayed over a layer of dyniomat. Plus I would like to freshen it up and painting would have to be re-done fairly often. Sound and rattle would be the smallest reason.

When I was at Daves place he showed me a cheapie $3 ice chest that he had sprayed and I could stand on it with no sag. It's pretty tough stuff.

hehe That makes sense...it was a clean 2004 Rubi for something like $4950. This was the ad:

WINTER IS COMING! Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4x4
development of good sportsmanship, provide opportunities
-----------

On another note:

I might be interested in lining the beast...depending on the product used I guess and the deal we get. Definitely not interested in Herc...
