unless you use a lot of bump stops yes. the wheel will still go up to a similar height relative to the fender, the front tires will still stuff to nearly the same spot. but if you limit the uptravel you wont need to trim as much

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...

Just looking at that picture, if it were 2 inches lower the rear would be rubbing. Either that or cut more metal out right?

I need to find a good picture (like the one above) that is a 4.5" setup with 33's to do a stare and compare.

same lift as me with 33'' BFG M/T

i know the pictures dont show much difference in height between the two but the red XJ has a rough country 6.5" lift with full leafs and the overlaod leaf removed. might no quite be exactly 6.5". and RE sits about 1" higher than advertised. im still around 5.5".

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...

my friends rough country 6.5" kit with 2" spacers up front and 33's

still quite a bit of trimming.
Do you know if those 33" are 10.5 wide or the more popular 12.5 wide? they look like 10.5. I was thinkin' of swappin' my 12.5 for some 10.5 but they don't seem to be readily available

You may want to retract that offer! You can ask Steve why!

I don't think I am going to go with any kit. I am thinking I am going to piece together the parts. I like the RE springs but want the Currie control arms for example. We'll see how pricey this gets before I decide for sure!

And I still need to get the flange from you. (sorry I never think of it until I see your name)

How's life been without a jeep? Did you get that truck?
I want to go pretty soon, wont be as fun without the army kitchen truck and your cookin.

I miss the jeep every day, havent got the truck because i dont have the time right now or the money to do anything with it. I got a new hobby, mountain biking, so my bike became my new jeep, and i can go every day after work and go explore here.

Unfortunantly i was just in claremont today but forgot about the flange. Still sittin on my shelf. We should go get a burger at that one burger place and ill drop it off

Arrrrrrr......

So I jumped into my Jeep yesterday, turned the key, and Ka-chewwwwww....

I think WTH?

So I turn it again, and Ka-chewwwwww......

I crawl under the Jeep, and the dang starter is falling out!
The bolts had backed their way out and it was just barely hanging on.
So I found two replacement bolts that the threads were clean on in my bolt bucket, put some Locktite on them, and now it's back to normal.
I wonder if they just didn't get tightened when we did the clutch install or something.
So who's modding this weekend? I know Jeff is painting at Jason's house.
Who else is modding and what are you doing?

Betcha' wish your girlfriend was as dirty as my Jeep!

Hang on! This is gunna' be a thrill ride of geriatric proportion!
