got the axle in and all bolted up and the shocks mounted on sunday.

Nate and I went to Kragen last night and got new calipers but neither they or pep boys had a piece of brake tube the right length for the right side so we did not get it quite finished.

The parking brake stuff was rusted into a solid block so for now we took all that out completely until we can get the thing driveable and have time to clean it up and put it back.

Next step will be the drive shaft. We already got the 1310/1330 joint for that too.

A goal is just a dream with a deadline.

I'll just buy another vehicle. I have room for one more in my driveway.

Maybe one of these is better though.

Visiting San Diego Oct.

Hi Guys,
I'm new to Jeeping, bought an 04 Rubi a few months ago in Austin, TX and will be cruising out West come Oct. I'll be in San Diego for a few days around Oct. 17th and again around Oct. 24th. I'm hoping to hook up with some people for some fairly easy runs. Jeep seems able but I've got very little experience. Thanks,
Mark

6.5" of lift and 33's or 4.5" of lift and 31's (maybe 32's)? Go big or go home?

I have a MM175 (220VAC, flux core or CO2/Argon mix, whichever you prefer) if you wanna try your hand at it.
